Folie a Deux

Folie a Deux.
Could time go by any slower?
I don't think I can wait any longer.
The excitement is killing me.
Counting down the days until I can go to Hot Topic and pick up my preordered copy.

Fall Out Boy Concert

Fuse Presents Fall Out Boy
December 2, 2008
Chicago Theatre - Chicago, IL
(My first time seeing FOB live)

Best night of my life. Words can't describe how much fun I had at this concert.

The concert started at 8pm, doors at 7pm. My friend Monica and I went out to dinner and then took the train down to Union Station. We got a cab to the theatre. We waited outside for a bit for the doors to open and found some of our friends from school that were also at the concert. They searched our bags when we got in. We weren't supposed to bring cameras, but mine was hidden in my pocket. I secretly got some pictures during the concert, but they're super blurry. Our seats were surprising close to the stage, closer than I expected. We waited in our seats patiently for the concert to start when all of a sudden, William Beckett of The Academy Is comes on stage. None of us expected him to be there. He played some songs acoustically and he sounded amazing. He played Winter Passing, some of an Alkaline Trio song, Classifieds, The Test, and About a Girl. Soon after that, Fall Out Boy came on. Monica and I absolutely went wild. They opened with Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. They played (not in order) Thriller, I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy.., Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner, Beat It, Headfirst Slide.., Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy, I'm Like A Laywer.., a bit of a new song, A Little Less 16 Candles.., Dance Dance, Sugar We're Goin Down, This Ain't A Scene.., The Take Over The Break's Over, I Don't Care, Yule Shoot Your Eye Out, and America's Suitehearts. They finally closed with Saturday. Everyone ran up to the stage at the end. Monica and I sprinted to the front and got so close! We stood on the seats and rocked out more than ever for the last song :) I don't think I have screamed that much in my life. I didn't have a voice after the concert. All that singing and screaming really takes a toll on your voice.. But it was totally worth it. So many other insane things happened that night. I could just keep going on and on for days, but you have probably read more than enough.

Highlight of The Night: While Pete was talking inbetween songs, his eyes started to wander over to the general area where Monica and I were. I randomly started waving to Pete, and so did Monica when she saw me doing it. I wasn't expecting to get anything in return, I was just being a spazz. Then Pete waved back to us :) Monica and I both looked at eachother, "DID HE JUST WAVE BACK TO US?!" It was complete bliss. Just thought i'd share :)

Check out Fuse on 12/16. I'm not sure about the time, but they're showing the concert :)
