Folie a Deux

Folie a Deux.
Could time go by any slower?
I don't think I can wait any longer.
The excitement is killing me.
Counting down the days until I can go to Hot Topic and pick up my preordered copy.

Fall Out Boy Concert

Fuse Presents Fall Out Boy
December 2, 2008
Chicago Theatre - Chicago, IL
(My first time seeing FOB live)

Best night of my life. Words can't describe how much fun I had at this concert.

The concert started at 8pm, doors at 7pm. My friend Monica and I went out to dinner and then took the train down to Union Station. We got a cab to the theatre. We waited outside for a bit for the doors to open and found some of our friends from school that were also at the concert. They searched our bags when we got in. We weren't supposed to bring cameras, but mine was hidden in my pocket. I secretly got some pictures during the concert, but they're super blurry. Our seats were surprising close to the stage, closer than I expected. We waited in our seats patiently for the concert to start when all of a sudden, William Beckett of The Academy Is comes on stage. None of us expected him to be there. He played some songs acoustically and he sounded amazing. He played Winter Passing, some of an Alkaline Trio song, Classifieds, The Test, and About a Girl. Soon after that, Fall Out Boy came on. Monica and I absolutely went wild. They opened with Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. They played (not in order) Thriller, I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy.., Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner, Beat It, Headfirst Slide.., Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy, I'm Like A Laywer.., a bit of a new song, A Little Less 16 Candles.., Dance Dance, Sugar We're Goin Down, This Ain't A Scene.., The Take Over The Break's Over, I Don't Care, Yule Shoot Your Eye Out, and America's Suitehearts. They finally closed with Saturday. Everyone ran up to the stage at the end. Monica and I sprinted to the front and got so close! We stood on the seats and rocked out more than ever for the last song :) I don't think I have screamed that much in my life. I didn't have a voice after the concert. All that singing and screaming really takes a toll on your voice.. But it was totally worth it. So many other insane things happened that night. I could just keep going on and on for days, but you have probably read more than enough.

Highlight of The Night: While Pete was talking inbetween songs, his eyes started to wander over to the general area where Monica and I were. I randomly started waving to Pete, and so did Monica when she saw me doing it. I wasn't expecting to get anything in return, I was just being a spazz. Then Pete waved back to us :) Monica and I both looked at eachother, "DID HE JUST WAVE BACK TO US?!" It was complete bliss. Just thought i'd share :)

Check out Fuse on 12/16. I'm not sure about the time, but they're showing the concert :)

All Time Low Signing

All Time Low signing.
November 15, 2008.
Nokia store in Chicago.
[P.S. These pictures are also on my Buzznet, that's why there's the Buzznet tag on it. Just ignore it.]
Waiting in line in Nokia. Alex walked by to go say hi to the fans still waiting outside in the cold. He's so nice :]

My friend and I bought them vitamin water because we read on their myspace that they like vitamin water on the road. Rian was joking around and asked if we drugged it. x]

My picture with them. They were all really nice! I was really nervous so we didn't talk much. I asked Jack for a hug and he could tell I was nervous. He was like "Sure!" and I got a big bear hug :] I love them.

A Great Few Days.

Yesterday and today have been great. I'm not really posting as much as i'd like to, so hopefully i'll find more time.

Yesterday was a great day at school. We have a block schedule at my school, and yesterday was my easy day. My free block at school I spent hanging with one of my friends, Monica. That night I went shopping with Monica to a shopping center in our area called Old Orchard. We went to Pac sun where I bought a hoodie (: That's a picture of the hoodie that I bought. Awesome, eh? Now I sound Canadian. I'm weird. After Pac Sun, we went to Hollister for a while. I don't shop there, and my friend doesn't really either but she was looking for a particular t-shirt [it's an inside joke xP ] Anyways, then we went to a book store where I bought my dad a birthday card. We got Starbucks and looked at magazines until her mom came to get us.

I preordered my limited-edition copy of Panic At The Disco's Live In Chicago Dvd/Cd (: I am sooo excited for it to get here!

I'm getting my hair cut tonight. This is the picture that i'm bringing to my hair dresser. You all probably know Hayley Williams from Paramore. I love her hair like this.

New.

Well hello, my name is Katie. I'm new to this so please forgive me x] I'm 16, and i'm a Junior in highschool. Music, school, friends, and family is basically my life in a nutshell. I couldn't live without any of those things. Before I go on, the picture to the left is the most recent picture of me. I'm infront of Clandestine Industries in Chicago. I went to their Halloween party :] It's kind of a bad picture of me, but it will have to do for now. Now where was I? Music is my escape. Some things in my life haven't been going too well lately, but music gets me through it. I wasn't that much into music before I got into Junior High. Looking back on my life, I don't understand how I went all that time without music. I'll switch gears and talk about something else because I talk about music way too much (and you'll be reading much more about it in the future xP ) My family and friends are really important to me. I live with my mom, dad, and brother. I have two dogs (black labs) named Disney and Pepper. Disney is 10 and pepper is 1. I am so greatful for my friends. A lot of people in my life have come and gone as friends but I have that select few that I know will always be there.
Well this picture I just found. It's kind of random. Halloween '08. I (attempted) to dress up like Brendon Urie, from the But It's Better If You Do music video.
I am going to get some sleep, school tomorrow ):
Thanks for reading! I'll be posting tomorrow after school.
- Katie
P.s. I love meeting new people. Please don't hesitate to introduce yourself. I'm a really friendly person, no worries (:
